The saying is defense wins championships. So, which teams in EA Sports College Football 25 will be tough to score on?
As part of "rankings week," EA Sports is revealing the best units in the upcoming video game before announcing the full team rankings Friday. Factors that determined defensive ratings included the players on the rosters, years of game film analysis and stats. The offensive ratings were released earlier Thursday.
With the defensive rankings now out, players should have an idea of where their favorite teams will rank when the full ratings are revealed later this week. The rankings of the toughest places to play already stirred debate, so expect the team ratings to do the same.

The best defense in EA Sports College Football 25 belongs to Ohio State, which owns a rating of 96 on the defensive side. The Buckeyes are one of seven teams with a defensive rating in the 90s.
