While we haven't tested the latest Samsung tablet, previous Samsung Galaxy Tab models have captured our attention. Our tester described the Galaxy Tab S8 (from $699.99) as a fine tablet thanks to its compact design, strong battery life and excellent S-Pen stylus. The aforementioned S-Pen is included with every tablet and magnetically attaches to the device (unlike the Apple Pencil 2 as a separate accessory for the iPad), so every user can experience its intuitive design and speedy responsiveness. It also has great built-in speakers, a solid battery life of up to 15 hours and a lightweight design.

All of the new Galaxy S9 Tab models have a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and a vibrant OLED display to deliver the best view on a compact device. The screen also comes with Vision Booster technology that automatically adjusts brightness and contrast for a clearer view of whatever you're working on, even in the sunlight. If you've got a big project to work on, DeX Mode helps open multiple windows and folders at the same time to let you drag and drop files between everything. Wherever you're working with it, the S9's Armor Aluminum frame is resistant to water, dust and most bumps.
